Cheesebuns Chalupas

Cheesebuns Chalupas

[AdSense-A]

This was actually the first time using my cheesebuns for chalupas/tacos. Some of you have made chalupas using my keto fry bread recipe (and so did I), but cheesebuns are much much, much lower in carbs and calories because they don’t require any almond flour. They’re also so much quicker to make, and were as close as I’ve ever gotten to that Taco Bell chalupa taste/texture.

Under all that sour cream is taco meat, cheese, lettuce and tomato. Next time I’m for sure making chicken chalupas.

Updated list of cheesebuns uses:

★Burger/hot dog/sandwich buns

  • I normally don’t comment on recipes but I just had to talk about these. I was looking for something to eat with chili, in place of crackers. I didn’t have enough mozzarella so I used 1/2 cup cheddar, 1/2 cup mozzarella, and 1/2 c parmesan.. This combination was great with the chili. I like the chewy, crispy texture. I can’t wait to try these with pizza and tacos.
