Ingredients:
- 1/2 lb ground turkey or beef
- 2 tablespoons of taco seasoning
- 1 cup salsa
- 16 oz cottage cheese
- 8 oz cheddar cheese, shredded

Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground turkey or beef until it’s browned and cooked through.
- Drain any excess fat from the skillet, then add the taco seasoning and stir until the meat is evenly coated. Cook for an additional minute to let the flavors meld.
- Stir in the salsa, mixing well with the seasoned meat. Let the mixture simmer for a few minutes to thicken slightly.
- In a separate bowl, combine the cottage cheese and half of the shredded cheddar cheese. Mix until well combined.
- In a greased baking dish, spread half of the meat mixture evenly across the bottom.
- Spoon the cottage cheese mixture on top of the meat layer, spreading it out evenly.
