Here’s a detailed keto recipe for Bacon Chaffle Garlic Bread Sticks:

Ingredients:

For the chaffles:

  • 1 egg
  • 2/3 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/3 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon almond flour
  • 1 teaspoon minced garlic
  • 1 tablespoon chopped parsley
  • 1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning

For assembly:

  • 4 tablespoons bacon crumbles
  • 4 tablespoons shredded mozzarella cheese
  • Additional parsley for garnish

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your mini waffle maker (like the Dash) or chaffle maker.
  2. In a mixing bowl, beat the egg until well blended.
  3. Add in the shredded mozzarella, grated Parmesan, almond flour, minced garlic, chopped parsley, and Italian seasoning. Mix until all ingredients are evenly combined.
  4. Sprinkle half of the grated Parmesan onto the preheated waffle maker. Pour half of the chaffle batter onto the Parmesan layer, spreading it evenly.
  5. Close the waffle maker and cook until the chaffle is golden brown and crispy, according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
  6. Repeat the process with the remaining batter to make the second chaffle.
  7. Once both chaffles are cooked, preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  8. Place the cooked chaffles onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  9. Sprinkle 1 tablespoon of bacon crumbles and 1 tablespoon of shredded mozzarella cheese evenly over each chaffle.
  10. Transfer the baking sheet to the preheated air fryer and cook for about 4 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  11. Remove the chaffles from the air fryer and transfer them to a cutting board.
  12. Cut each chaffle into breadstick-sized pieces.
  13. Garnish with additional chopped parsley if desired
