Keto Grilled Cheese Bowl Bread

This recipe creates a delicious and satisfying keto-friendly grilled cheese sandwich without a strong eggy taste. Feel free to customize by adding your favorite keto-friendly toppings or condiments.

Ingredients:

  • 4 tbsp almond flour
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 tbsp baking powder
  • 1 ounce cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1 1/2 tbsp butter, softened

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Bowl:
    • In a microwave-safe bowl, combine almond flour, baking powder, and cheddar cheese.
  2. Mix Dry Ingredients:
    • Mix the dry ingredients until well combined.
  3. Add Wet Ingredients:
    • Add the egg and softened butter to the dry ingredients.
  4. Mix Thoroughly:
    • Mix the ingredients thoroughly until you have a smooth batter. Make sure there are no lumps.
  5. Microwave:
    • Microwave the mixture for 90 seconds. The bread should rise and become firm.
  6. Let it Cool:
    • Allow the bread to cool for a few minutes before handling.
  7. Slice into Bread Shapes:
    • Once cooled, carefully remove the bread from the bowl. It should have a bowl shape. Slice it horizontally into two pieces, creating the top and bottom of your sandwich.
  8. Grill Cheese Sandwich:
    • Heat a non-stick pan over medium heat. Place the slices of bread in the pan.

    • Add additional cheddar cheese (or your favorite keto-friendly cheese) to one side of the bread.
  10. Sandwich Assembly:
    • Place the other slice of bread on top, creating a sandwich. Press it down gently.
  11. Grill:
    • Grill the sandwich on both sides until the cheese is melted and the bread is golden brown.
