Jalapeno Poppers Keto recipe
Ingredients:
- 6 large jalapeno peppers
- 4 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 6 slices of bacon, cut in half crosswise
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Cut the jalapenos in half lengthwise, then use a spoon to scoop out the seeds and membranes.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, shredded cheddar cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
- Spoon the cream cheese mixture into each jalapeno half, filling them evenly.
- Wrap each stuffed jalapeno half with a half-slice of bacon, securing it with a toothpick.
- Place the bacon-wrapped jalapeno poppers on the prepared baking sheet.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the bacon is crispy and the jalapenos are tender.
- Once done, remove from the oven and let them cool for a few minutes before serving.
