Ingredients:

  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce or coconut aminos (for a soy-free option)
  • 2 tablespoons erythritol or another keto-friendly sweetener
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon grated fresh ginger
  • 1/4 teaspoon xanthan gum (for thickening, optional)
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Green onions for garnish (optional)

Instructions:

  1. In a small bowl, whisk together the soy sauce or coconut aminos, erythritol, minced garlic, and grated ginger.
  2. Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
  3. In a large skillet, heat the sesame oil over medium-high heat.
  4. Add the chicken breasts to the skillet and cook until they are browned on both sides and cooked through. This should take about 6-8 minutes per side, depending on the thickness of the chicken breasts.
  5. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set it aside.
  6. In the same skillet, pour in the teriyaki sauce mixture and let it simmer for a couple of minutes. If you’d like the sauce to thicken, you can whisk in a small amount of xanthan gum at this point.
  7. Slice the cooked chicken into thin strips and return them to the skillet. Coat the chicken with the teriyaki sauce and let it simmer for a few more minutes.

Ingredients:

  • 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (adjust to your spice preference)
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped, for garnish

  1. In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat.
