Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the almond flour, shredded cheese, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Stir until well combined.
- Crack the egg into the bowl with the dry ingredients. Mix everything together until a dough forms. You may need to use your hands to knead the dough and ensure all ingredients are fully incorporated.
- Once the dough is formed, place it onto the prepared baking sheet. Using your hands or a rolling pin, flatten the dough into a thin, even layer. Aim for about 1/8 inch thickness.
- Use a knife or pizza cutter to cut the flattened dough into small chip-sized pieces. You can make them any shape you like, such as triangles or squares.
- Carefully transfer the cut dough pieces onto the baking sheet, making sure they are evenly spaced and not touching each other.
- Bake the chips in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, or until they are golden brown and crispy around the edges. Keep an eye on them towards the end of the baking time to prevent burning.
- Once the chips are done baking, remove them from the oven and let them cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes. They will continue to crisp up as they cool.
- Serve the keto chips as a snack on their own, or enjoy them with your favorite dip or salsa. Store any leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a few days.
