Keto Crab Rangoon
These Keto Crab Rangoons offer a delightful low-carb alternative to the classic appetizer. Enjoy the rich, creamy filling surrounded by crispy, cheesy shells!
Ingredients:
- 1 package (8 oz) Cream Cheese, softened
- 2 cans (120g each) Crab, drained
- 1/2 cup Shredded Mozzarella Cheese
- 1/2 tsp Finely Minced Garlic
- 1/2 tsp Garlic Powder
- 1/2 tsp Onion Powder
- Dash of Salt and Pepper
- 12 Mozzarella Cheese Slices

Instructions:
- Prepare Cream Cheese Mixture:
- Soften the cream cheese and, in a large mixing bowl, combine it with the drained canned crab, minced garlic, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined. Stir in the shredded mozzarella cheese.
- Preheat Oven:
- Preheat the oven to 325°F (163°C).
- Melt Mozzarella Slices:
- Spread out the mozzarella slices onto 2 parchment paper-lined baking sheets. Bake the cheese slices until fully melted, approximately 4-5 minutes. Remove from the oven and let them cool slightly.
- Assemble Rangoons:
- Spoon approximately 3 tablespoons of the cream cheese and crab mixture onto half of each melted mozzarella slice. Fold the slices in half, creating rectangle shapes, and press the sides firmly closed.
- Bake Again:
- Return the assembled rangoons to the oven for another 5-7 minutes. Remove from the oven once the cheese is melted but not crispy. Use a spoon to press the edges into a smaller circular shape.
- Broil:
- Turn your oven to broil. Return the rangoons to the oven to brown for 2-4 minutes until the top and edges are golden brown.
- Serve:
- Allow the crab rangoons to cool slightly before serving. Enjoy these keto-friendly treats as a delicious appetizer or snack.
