Keto Grilled cheese sandwich

Ingredients:

  • 4 slices of Keto-friendly bread (such as almond flour bread or cloud bread)
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened
  • Optional: add-ins like cooked bacon, sliced avocado, or tomato slices

Instructions:

  1. Preheat a non-stick skillet or griddle over medium heat.
  2. In a small bowl, mix together the shredded mozzarella and grated parmesan cheeses.
  3. Spread a thin layer of butter on one side of each slice of Keto-friendly bread.
  4. Place two slices of bread, buttered side down, onto the preheated skillet or griddle.
  5. Sprinkle a generous amount of the cheese mixture evenly over the bread slices in the skillet.
  6. If using any add-ins, place them on top of the cheese.
  7. Top each sandwich with the remaining slices of bread, buttered side facing up.
  8. Cook the sandwiches for 3-4 minutes on each side, or until the bread is golden brown and the cheese is melted and gooey.
  9. Once both sides are golden brown and the cheese is melted, remove the sandwiches from the skillet or griddle.
  10. Let the sandwiches cool for a minute or two before slicing them in half and serving.
