TENDER AND JUICY GARLIC BUTTER STEAK BITES
Ingredients:
- 1 pound of sirloin or ribeye steak, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 2 tablespoons of olive oil
- 3 cloves of garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons of butter
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped, for garnish (optional)
- Prepare the Steak:
- Start by cutting the steak into bite-sized pieces. Make sure to trim excess fat and season with salt and pepper.
- Sear the Steak Bites:
- Heat the olive oil in a skillet or frying pan over medium-high heat.
- Add the steak bites to the hot skillet and sear them for 2-3 minutes on each side, or until they reach your desired level of doneness. For medium-rare, aim for an internal temperature of around 135°F (57°C).
- Remove the steak bites from the skillet and set them aside on a plate.
- Make the Garlic Butter Sauce:
- In the same skillet, add the minced garlic and butter. Sauté the garlic for about 1 minute or until it becomes fragrant, being careful not to let it brown.
- Combine and Finish:
- Return the seared steak bites to the skillet with the garlic butter sauce. Toss the steak bites in the sauce for about a minute, making sure they are evenly coated and heated through.
- Taste and adjust the seasoning with additional salt and pepper if needed.
- Garnish and Serve:
- Sprinkle chopped fresh parsley over the steak bites for a burst of color and flavor (optional).
- Serve your keto garlic butter steak bites immediately. They are delicious on their own or can be served with a side of keto-friendly vegetables, such as steamed broccoli or cauliflower rice.
