HONEY GARLIC PORK CHOPS

Ingredients:

  • 4 pork chops
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce (or tamari for gluten-free)
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons keto-friendly sweetener (such as erythritol or stevia)
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Chopped fresh parsley, for garnish (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Season the pork chops with salt and pepper on both sides.
  3. In a small bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, olive oil, minced garlic, keto-friendly sweetener, Dijon mustard, apple cider vinegar, and sesame oil.
  4. Heat a large oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat. Add a bit of olive oil to coat the bottom of the pan.
  5. Sear the pork chops for 2-3 minutes on each side until they develop a golden brown crust.
  6. Pour the prepared sauce over the pork chops, ensuring they are well coated.
  7. Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and bake for about 15-20 minutes or until the pork chops reach an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C).
  8. Garnish with chopped fresh parsley if desired.
