Ingredients:

  • 1 lb deli-sliced chicken breast (thinly sliced)
  • 1 cup marinara sauce (sugar-free)
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh basil leaves for garnish (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a baking dish with non-stick cooking spray.
  2. In a bowl, mix together the ricotta cheese, grated Parmesan cheese, egg, dried basil, dried oregano, salt, and pepper. This will be your cheese mixture.
  3. Lay half of the deli-sliced chicken breast in the bottom of the greased baking dish, making sure to overlap them slightly to create a solid layer.
