Keto Crispy Ham Rolls
For the Filling:
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh herbs (such as parsley, chives, or dill)
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- Salt and pepper to taste
For the Rolls:
- 8-10 slices of thinly sliced ham or prosciutto
- In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, chopped herbs, minced garlic, salt, and pepper. Mix well until all the ingredients are evenly incorporated.
- Lay out the slices of ham or prosciutto on a clean surface.
- Take a spoonful of the cream cheese mixture and spread it evenly onto each slice of ham.
- Carefully roll up each slice of ham, starting from one end and rolling it tightly around the cream cheese filling.
- Once all the ham rolls are assembled, you can serve them immediately, or for an extra crispy texture, you can heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat.
- Place the ham rolls, seam side down, onto the skillet. Cook for a few minutes on each side until the ham is crispy and slightly browned. This step is optional, and you can skip it if you prefer your rolls cold.
- Remove the ham rolls from the skillet and let them cool slightly before serving.
