Keto Pizza Chips
Ingredients:
- Mozzarella Cheese, shredded
- Pepperoni Slices (about 2 per chip)
- Garlic Powder
- Red Pepper Flakes
- Dried Oregano
Equipment:
- Muffin Tin
Instructions:
- Preheat the Oven:
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Prepare the Muffin Tin:
- Grease or line a muffin tin with parchment paper to prevent sticking.
- Create the Pizza Chips:
- In each muffin cup, add a small pile of shredded mozzarella cheese. The cheese will melt and form the base of your pizza chips, so make sure it’s spread evenly and slightly flattened.
- Season the Cheese:
- Sprinkle a pinch of garlic powder and a dash of red pepper flakes over the mozzarella cheese in each muffin cup. Adjust the seasoning to your taste preferences; you can add more or less depending on how spicy you like it.
- Add Pepperoni:
- Place two pepperoni slices on top of the seasoned cheese in each muffin cup. You can adjust the number of pepperoni slices based on your preference for a more or less meaty chip.
- Sprinkle with Oregano:
- Sprinkle a pinch of dried oregano over each pizza chip. This adds a wonderful pizza-like aroma and flavor.
- Bake:
- Place the muffin tin in the preheated oven and bake for approximately 12 minutes or until the edges of the cheese become golden and crispy.
- Broil for Extra Crispiness:
- If desired, you can broil the pizza chips for an additional 1-2 minutes at the end to achieve extra crispiness. Keep a close eye on them to prevent burning.
- Cool and Serve:
- Allow the pizza chips to cool in the muffin tin for a few minutes to firm up. Once they are easy to handle, remove them from the tin and let them cool further on a wire rack.
- Dip and Enjoy:
- Serve your keto pizza chips with your favorite dipping sauce. Marinara sauce, ranch dressing, or a garlic aioli are excellent choices.
- Enjoy:
- Enjoy your homemade Keto Pizza Chips as a tasty low-carb snack or appetizer!
