Philly Cheese Steak Casserole
Ingredients:
- 1 pound of thinly sliced beef (such as ribeye or sirloin)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 small onion, thinly sliced
- 1 green bell pepper, thinly sliced
- 8 ounces of mushrooms, sliced
- 1/2 cup beef broth
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1/2 cup cream cheese
- 1 1/2 cups shredded provolone or mozzarella cheese

Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the sliced beef and cook until it’s browned. Remove the beef from the skillet and set it aside.
- In the same skillet, add the sliced onion and green pepper. Sauté them until they become tender.
- Add the mushrooms to the skillet and cook until they release their moisture and start to brown.
- Stir in the minced garlic and cook for another minute.
- Pour the beef broth into the skillet and bring it to a simmer. Allow it to reduce slightly.
- Return the cooked beef to the skillet and season the mixture with salt, black pepper, and Italian seasoning. Stir everything together.
- Stir in the cream cheese until it’s fully melted and the mixture is creamy.
- Transfer the contents of the skillet into a greased 9×13-inch casserole dish.
- Sprinkle the shredded provolone or mozzarella cheese evenly over the top of the casserole.
- Bake in the preheated oven for about 15-20 minutes or until the cheese is bubbly and golden brown.
