INGREDIENTS

60 ml of vegetable broth
500 grammes of kohlrabi
500 g beef mince
150 g tomatoes for cocktails
125 g cubes of ham
1. A bell pepper
½ onion
1 garlic clove
Tomato paste, 2 teaspoons
1-teaspoon butter
1 teaspoon of paprika powder
1/4 tsp pepper
a dash of salt
INSTRUCTIONS

Cut the kohlrabi into bite-sized pieces after peeling. Slice the tomatoes and peppers, then put everything aside for the time being. The onions should be finely diced and placed in a big pot.
Saute the onions in some butter for around 3 to 4 minutes. Then, add the gammon cubes and the minced meat to the pot, and cook everything together for about 10 minutes at medium heat, or until the minced meat is golden brown.
Include the vegetables in the saucepan and give it all a good swirl. Over medium heat, add the garlic clove and cook for an additional 10 minutes.
Include the tomato paste and whisk the mixture for a couple of minutes. Add the vegetable broth to the pan to deglaze it, then season with pepper and paprika.
Before serving the finished farmer’s casserole, allow everything to simmer for another 10 minutes.
