Here’s a detailed recipe for Keto Cheese Sticks:

Ingredients:

  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the shredded mozzarella cheese and grated Parmesan cheese.
  3. Microwave the cheeses in 30-second intervals, stirring in between, until completely melted and smooth. Be careful not to overcook.
  4. Once the cheese is melted, allow it to cool slightly before adding the eggs. This prevents the eggs from scrambling when mixed.
  5. Beat the eggs lightly and then add them to the melted cheese mixture. Stir until well combined.
  6. Add the garlic powder, onion powder, Italian seasoning, and salt and pepper (if using) to the mixture. Mix until all the ingredients are evenly distributed.
  7. Scoop the cheese mixture onto the prepared baking sheet, spreading it out into a rectangle about 1/4 inch thick. You can use a spatula or your hands, just make sure it’s evenly spread.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for about 15 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown and the cheese is set.
  9. Once done, remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes.
  10. Using a pizza cutter or a sharp knife, cut the cheese mixture into long strips, resembling cheese sticks.
  11. Serve the keto cheese sticks warm, with marinara sauce or your favorite low-carb dipping sauce
