Keto Lasagna with Green Peppers, Sausage, Pepperoni, Cream Cheese, Ranch Sauce, and Mozzarella Cheese

Ingredients:

  • 1 medium green pepper, diced
  • 1 lb (450g) ground sausage
  • 1 cup sliced pepperoni
  • 8 oz (225g) cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup ranch dressing (make sure it’s keto-friendly or use a homemade version)
  • 3 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley or basil for garnish (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground sausage until browned and cooked through, breaking it apart with a spoon as it cooks. Drain any excess fat and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, add the diced green pepper and sauté until softened, about 3-4 minutes. Remove from heat and set aside.
  4. In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese and ranch dressing until smooth and well combined.
  5. In a separate bowl, mix together the cooked sausage, sautéed green peppers, and sliced pepperoni.
  6. Spread a thin layer of the cream cheese ranch sauce on the bottom of a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  7. Layer half of the sausage, pepperoni, and green pepper mixture on top of the sauce.
  8. Sprinkle half of the shredded mozzarella cheese over the meat and pepper mixture.
  9. Repeat the layers: cream cheese ranch sauce, remaining sausage, pepperoni, green peppers, and shredded mozzarella cheese.
  10. Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  11. Remove the foil and continue baking for an additional 10-15 minutes, or until the cheese is golden brown and bubbly.
  12. Once done, remove the lasagna from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before slicing.
  13. Garnish with fresh parsley or basil, if desired, before serving
