Steak and Shrimp Skillet
Ingredients:
- 1 lb (about 450g) steak (such as sirloin or ribeye), cut into bite-sized pieces
- 1 lb (about 450g) large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 onion, thinly sliced
- 1 bell pepper, sliced (any color you prefer)
- 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional for some heat)
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions:
- Season the steak pieces with salt, pepper, paprika, dried thyme, and dried oregano.
- In a large skillet or pan, heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil over medium-high heat.
- Add the seasoned steak pieces to the skillet and cook until browned on all sides. This should take about 3-4 minutes. Remove the steak from the skillet and set it aside.
- In the same skillet, add the remaining tablespoon of olive oil.
- Add the minced garlic and sliced onions to the skillet. Sauté until the onions are translucent.
- Add the sliced bell pepper to the skillet and cook until they are slightly softened.
- Add the shrimp to the skillet and cook until they turn pink and opaque.
- Return the cooked steak to the skillet, and add the halved cherry tomatoes. Mix everything together.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste. Add red pepper flakes if you want a bit of heat.
- Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, or until everything is heated through.
- Garnish with chopped fresh parsley.
