Ingredients
- 1 cup low-fat cottage cheese
- Β½ cup plain Greek yogurt
- 1 scoop (25β30 g) chocolate or vanilla protein powder
- 1Β½ tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder β for chocolate mousse
- 2β3 tbsp unsweetened almond milk, as needed
- 1β2 tbsp monk fruit sweetener, to taste
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- Pinch of salt
- Optional: 1 tbsp sugar-free chocolate chips or a few berries for topping
π©βπ³ Instructions
- Add everything to a blender:
Add cottage cheese, Greek yogurt, protein powder, cocoa powder, almond milk, monk fruit sweetener, vanilla, and a tiny pinch of salt. - Blend until completely smooth:
Blend for 1β2 minutes, scraping down the sides if necessary. Keep blending until there are no visible cottage-cheese curds and the mixture becomes thick and creamy. - Adjust the texture:
If itβs too thick, add almond milk 1 tablespoon at a time. If itβs too thin, add a little more Greek yogurt or protein powder. - Taste and adjust:
Add more monk fruit if you prefer it sweeter, or a little extra cocoa for a richer chocolate flavor. - Chill:
Spoon into 2 small serving glasses or bowls. Refrigerate for 30β60 minutes. Chilling makes the mousse thicker and creamier. - Serve:
Top with a few berries, shaved sugar-free chocolate, cocoa powder, or a small spoonful of Greek yogurt.
πͺ Protein Boost
Using a protein powder with about 20β25 g protein per scoop, this recipe can provide roughly 20β25+ g protein per serving, depending on the cottage cheese and yogurt brands.
π Flavor Variations

Peanut Butter Chocolate: Add 1 tbsp natural peanut butter or powdered peanut butter.
Vanilla Cheesecake: Skip cocoa and use vanilla protein powder + 1 tsp lemon juice.
