Beefy Nacho Cheese Wrap
Ingredients:
For the Beef Filling:
- 1/4 pound (4 oz) ground beef
- 1/2 packet of taco seasoning mix (or to taste)
- 1/4 cup water
- 1 large flour tortilla
- 1/4 cup cooked and seasoned white rice
- 1/4 cup nacho cheese sauce (store-bought or homemade)
- 1/4 cup crushed tortilla chips or crunchy red strips
- Sour cream (optional)
- Salsa (optional)
- Start by preparing the ground beef filling. In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until it’s browned and crumbled. Drain any excess fat.
- Add half a packet of taco seasoning mix (adjust to your taste) and 1/4 cup of water to the cooked beef. Simmer for a few minutes until the seasoning is well incorporated, and the mixture thickens. Set aside.
- Warm the flour tortilla in a microwave or on a dry skillet to make it pliable.
- Assemble the wrap: Lay the warmed tortilla on a clean surface.
- In the center of the tortilla, add the seasoned white rice.
- Top the rice with the beef filling.
- Drizzle nacho cheese sauce over the beef and rice.
- Sprinkle the crushed tortilla chips or crunchy red strips over the cheese sauce.
- If desired, add a dollop of sour cream and a spoonful of salsa on top of the nacho cheese sauce.
- Carefully fold in the sides of the tortilla, and then roll it up from the bottom to create a wrap.
- Serve your homemade Beefy Nacho Cheese Wrap immediately, or wrap it in foil to keep it warm for later.
