Instructions:
- Start by preheating your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Thread the cubes of pork or veal onto wooden skewers, creating “drumstick”-like shapes.
- In a shallow bowl, beat the egg, and season it with salt and pepper. In another shallow bowl, combine the breadcrumbs and optional seasonings.
- Roll the skewered meat in the flour, dip it in the beaten egg, and then coat it with the breadcrumb mixture. Ensure the meat is evenly coated.
- Heat cooking oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Fry the skewers until they are golden brown on all sides, which should take about 2-3 minutes per side.
