  • 1 small zucchini
  • 1 egg

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the Oven:
    • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Prepare Zucchini:
    • Wash and dry the small zucchini. Cut it into strips, resembling fries. Choosing a smaller zucchini with less moisture is ideal.
  3. Dry Zucchini Strips:
    • Lay the zucchini strips on a paper towel to absorb excess moisture. This helps achieve a crispy texture.
  4. Prepare Coating Mixture:
    • In a shallow dish, mix grated Parmesan Romano cheese with a sprinkle of garlic powder and Italian seasoning. Adjust the seasoning according to your taste preferences.
  5. Create Scrambled Egg Wash:
    • In another bowl, scramble the egg to create an egg wash.
  6. Coat Zucchini Strips:
    • Dip each zucchini strip into the scrambled egg wash, ensuring it is evenly coated. Allow excess egg to drip off.
    • Transfer the coated zucchini strip to the cheese and spice mixture, pressing the cheese mixture onto the strip to ensure it adheres well. Repeat for all zucchini strips.
  7. Prepare Baking Sheet:
    • Spray a baking sheet with cooking spray to prevent sticking.
  8. Arrange Zucchini on Baking Sheet:

  9. Bake:
