Keto BBQ Pulled Pork Pizza

A delicious low-carb pizza loaded with smoky BBQ pulled pork, gooey melted mozzarella, tangy sugar-free barbecue sauce, and savory toppings. This keto-friendly pizza has a cheesy crust, plenty of protein, and all the comfort-food flavor without traditional flour dough!

Prep Time: 15 minutes
Cook Time: 20 minutes
Total Time: 35 minutes
Servings: 4

Ingredients

For the Keto Pizza Crust

  • 1½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ¾ cup almond flour
  • 2 tablespoons cream cheese
  • 1 large egg
  • ½ teaspoon baking powder
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon Italian seasoning

For the BBQ Pulled Pork Topping

  • 2 cups cooked pulled pork (lean, shredded)
  • ⅓ cup sugar-free BBQ sauce
  • 1½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ¼ cup thinly sliced red onion
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh cilantro
  • ½ teaspoon smoked paprika
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

1. Prepare the oven

Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet or pizza pan with parchment paper.

2. Make the keto crust

In a microwave-safe bowl, combine mozzarella and cream cheese. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring until melted and smooth.

Add almond flour, egg, baking powder, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning. Mix until a soft dough forms.

3. Shape the crust

Place the dough between two sheets of parchment paper. Roll it into a round pizza crust about ¼ inch thick.

Remove the top parchment paper and transfer the crust to the prepared baking sheet.

4. Pre-bake the crust

Bake for 8–10 minutes until lightly golden and firm around the edges.

Remove from the oven and let it cool for 2 minutes.

5. Prepare the BBQ pulled pork

In a bowl, combine shredded pulled pork, sugar-free BBQ sauce, smoked paprika, and black pepper.

Mix until the pork is evenly coated.

6. Assemble the pizza

Spread a thin layer of sugar-free BBQ sauce over the crust.

Sprinkle half the mozzarella cheese over the top. Add the BBQ pulled pork and sliced red onions.

Finish with the remaining mozzarella cheese.

7. Bake

Return the pizza to the oven and bake for another 8–10 minutes, or until the cheese is melted, bubbly, and lightly golden.

8. Garnish and serve

Remove from the oven and allow the pizza to rest for 3–5 minutes. Sprinkle with fresh cilantro, slice, and serve warm.
