Keto Cheddar and Pepper Bacon Chicken Wrap

Just  made up some cheddar and pepper bacon chicken wraps for dinner and they were a hit  The combination of savory bacon, gooey cheddar, and tender chicken is simply irresistible. It’s my go to dish when I want something quick  filling  and oh so delicious. Trust me, you won’t be disappointed

here’s a detailed recipe for your Cheddar and Pepper Bacon Chicken Wrap:

Ingredients:

  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 4 slices of bacon
  • 4 cheddar cheese sticks (or slices of cheddar cheese)
  • Ground black pepper
  • Salt
  • Toothpicks

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Flatten the chicken breasts using a meat mallet or the bottom of a heavy pan. Season both sides of each chicken breast with ground black pepper and a pinch of salt.
  3. Place two cheddar cheese sticks (or cheddar cheese slices) onto each chicken breast, closer to one end.
  4. Carefully roll up each chicken breast, starting from the end with the cheese sticks, and secure with toothpicks to hold them in place.
  5. Wrap each chicken breast with 2 slices of bacon, making sure to cover the entire surface of the chicken.
  6. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the wrapped chicken breasts seam side down to the skillet. Cook for about 2-3 minutes on each side, or until the bacon is crispy and golden brown.
  7. Transfer the chicken wraps to a baking dish and bake in the preheated oven for about 20-25 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).
  8. Once done, remove the toothpicks from the chicken wraps and let them rest for a few minutes before serving.
  9. Slice the chicken wraps into rounds and serve hot
