Ingredients:

Chicken breasts, cut horizontally for quicker cooking
Olive oil

Cheese (such as mozzarella or a blend)

Instructions:

Preheat your oven to the temperature specified on the pizza sauce jar or around 375°F (190°C).

Season both sides of the chicken breasts with your favorite Italian seasonings. You can use a pre-made Italian seasoning blend or create your own using herbs like oregano, basil, and thyme.

In a skillet or frying pan, heat some olive oil over medium-high heat. Once hot, sear the seasoned chicken breasts until they are golden brown on both sides. This step helps lock in the flavor and moisture of the chicken.

Transfer the seared chicken breasts to a baking dish or oven-safe pan.

Spread a thin layer of pizza sauce on each chicken breast. You can adjust the amount based on your preference, but about 1/2 tablespoon per piece should be enough.
