Ingredients:

  • 4 ripe Roma tomatoes, diced
  • 1/2 medium red onion, finely chopped
  • 1/2 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
  • 1-2 jalapeño peppers, seeded and finely diced (adjust to your spice preference)
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Juice of 1 lime
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:

  1. Start by washing and preparing all your ingredients.
  2. In a medium-sized bowl, combine the diced tomatoes, chopped red onion, chopped cilantro, finely diced jalapeño peppers, and minced garlic.
  3. Squeeze the juice of one lime over the mixture. Lime juice not only adds flavor but also helps preserve the freshness of the Pico de Gallo.
  4. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Start with a pinch of salt and adjust according to your preference. Mix everything together well.
