Quick, Easy & Perfect for Beginners!

These Keto Crepe Rolls are soft, thin, lightly sweet, and incredibly easy to prepare. They make a delicious low-carb breakfast, dessert, or snack and can be filled with a creamy cheese filling, whipped cream, or your favorite keto-friendly toppings.

Servings: 6–8 crepes
Prep time: 10 minutes
Cook time: 15 minutes
Total time: ~25 minutes

πŸ›’ Ingredients

For the Keto Crepes

  • 4 large eggs
  • 4 oz (115 g) cream cheese, softened
  • 2 tablespoons almond flour
  • 1 tablespoon powdered erythritol or monk-fruit sweetener
  • Β½ teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ΒΌ teaspoon baking powder
  • Pinch of salt
  • 2–3 tablespoons unsweetened almond milk, as needed
  • Butter or coconut oil, for the pan

Creamy Filling

  • 4 oz (115 g) cream cheese, softened
  • 2 tablespoons powdered keto sweetener
  • Β½ teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 tablespoons heavy cream
  • Optional: Β½ teaspoon lemon zest

Optional Toppings

  • Fresh strawberries or raspberries
  • Unsweetened shredded coconut
  • Chopped pecans
  • Sugar-free chocolate chips
  • A small drizzle of sugar-free chocolate sauce

πŸ‘©β€πŸ³ Step-by-Step Instructions

1. Make the Crepe Batter

Add the eggs, softened cream cheese, almond flour, sweetener, vanilla, baking powder, and salt to a blender.

Blend for 30–45 seconds, until completely smooth.

If the batter seems too thick, add almond milk 1 tablespoon at a time until it becomes thin and pourable.

Let the batter rest for 2–3 minutes.

2. Heat the Pan

Place a nonstick skillet over low to medium heat.

Lightly grease it with butter or coconut oil.

The pan shouldn’t be extremely hotβ€”keto crepes are delicate and can brown too quickly.

3. Cook the Crepes πŸ₯ž

Pour approximately 2–3 tablespoons of batter into the center of the pan.

Immediately tilt and gently swirl the pan so the batter spreads into a thin, even circle.

Cook for approximately 1–2 minutes, until the edges look set and the underside is lightly golden.

Carefully flip the crepe.

Cook the other side for another 30–60 seconds.

Transfer to a plate.

Repeat with the remaining batter.

Tip: Lightly grease the pan between crepes if they begin sticking.

πŸ§€ 4. Prepare the Creamy Filling

In a bowl, combine:

  • Softened cream cheese
  • Powdered keto sweetener
  • Vanilla
  • Heavy cream

Beat until smooth and creamy.

Add lemon zest if you want a fresh cheesecake-like flavor.

🌯 5. Fill the Crepes

Place one crepe flat on a clean surface.

Spread a thin layer of the cream cheese filling over the entire crepe, leaving a small border around the edges.

Add a few thinly sliced strawberries, raspberries, or chopped pecans if desired.

Don’t overfillβ€”the crepe needs to roll tightly.

6. Roll

Starting from one edge, carefully roll the crepe into a tight cylinder.

Place it seam-side down.

Repeat with the remaining crepes.

For smaller bite-sized rolls, cut each rolled crepe into 2–3 pieces.

❄️ 7. Chill or Serve

You can enjoy the rolls immediately, or refrigerate them for 20–30 minutes.

Chilling helps the filling become firmer and makes the rolls easier to slice.

Finish with a light dusting of powdered keto sweetener or a few berries.

πŸ“ Delicious Variations

🍫 Chocolate Crepe Rolls

Add 1 tablespoon unsweetened cocoa powder to the batter and slightly increase the sweetener.

Fill with the cream cheese mixture and a few sugar-free chocolate chips.

πŸ₯œ Peanut Butter

Mix 1 tablespoon natural peanut butter into the filling for a creamy peanut-butter version.

πŸ“ Strawberry Cheesecake

Add finely chopped strawberries and a little lemon zest to the cream cheese filling.

πŸ₯₯ Coconut

Add unsweetened shredded coconut to the filling and sprinkle some on top.

πŸ’‘ Beginner Tips

  • Keep the heat moderate: Too much heat can make the crepes dry or brittle.
  • Make them thin: A thin batter produces flexible crepes that roll easily.
  • Soften the cream cheese: This prevents lumps in the filling.
  • Don’t overfill: A thin layer of filling makes much neater rolls.
  • If a crepe tears, don’t worryβ€”let the next one cook slightly longer before flipping.
  • Allow the crepes to cool for a minute before filling.

πŸ’ͺ Keto & Low-Carb Note

These crepes are designed to be low-carb and keto-friendly, but the exact carbohydrate count depends on the brands of cream cheese, almond flour, sweetener, and toppings used. For the lowest-carb version, choose unsweetened dairy products and keto-friendly sweeteners.

Soft crepes + creamy cheesecake-style filling + a little chocolate or fresh berries = an easy keto treat that looks fancy but is wonderfully beginner-friendly! πŸ₯žπŸ’—
