Ingredients
- 1 cup low-fat cottage cheese
- 2 large eggs
- ¾ cup self-rising flour
- ½ teaspoon baking powder (if using all-purpose flour)
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon onion powder (optional)
- 1 tablespoon sesame seeds or everything bagel seasoning
For the Egg Wash:
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1 teaspoon water
Instructions
1. Preheat the oven: Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
2. Prepare cottage cheese: Blend cottage cheese until smooth and creamy.
3. Mix wet ingredients: In a large bowl, whisk together cottage cheese and 2 eggs until well combined.
4. Add dry ingredients: Add self-rising flour, garlic powder, salt, and onion powder. Mix until a soft dough forms.
5. Knead gently: Transfer dough to a lightly floured surface. Knead gently for 1–2 minutes until manageable. Add a little flour if excessively sticky.
