Keto Avocado dressing
Ingredients:
- 1 ripe avocado, peeled and pitted
- 1/4 cup avocado oil or olive oil
- 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar or lemon juice
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1/4 teaspoon salt (adjust to taste)
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon onion powder (optional)
- 2-3 tablespoons water (adjust for desired consistency)
- Optional: a pinch of red pepper flakes for some heat
Instructions:
- In a food processor or blender, combine the ripe avocado, avocado oil or olive oil, apple cider vinegar or lemon juice, minced garlic, salt, black pepper, and onion powder if using.
- Blend the ingredients until smooth and creamy. If the mixture is too thick, you can add a couple of tablespoons of water to achieve the desired consistency.
- Taste the dressing and adjust the seasoning, adding more salt, pepper, or acid (vinegar or lemon juice) if needed.
- If you prefer a bit of heat, add a pinch of red pepper flakes and blend again.
- Transfer the keto avocado dressing to a container with a lid.
- Use the dressing immediately or store it in the refrigerator. Because it contains fresh ingredients, it’s best to consume it within a few days to enjoy its freshness.
