Keto Avocado dressing


  • 1 ripe avocado, peeled and pitted
  • 1/4 cup avocado oil or olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar or lemon juice
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt (adjust to taste)
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon onion powder (optional)
  • 2-3 tablespoons water (adjust for desired consistency)
  • Optional: a pinch of red pepper flakes for some heat


  1. In a food processor or blender, combine the ripe avocado, avocado oil or olive oil, apple cider vinegar or lemon juice, minced garlic, salt, black pepper, and onion powder if using.
  2. Blend the ingredients until smooth and creamy. If the mixture is too thick, you can add a couple of tablespoons of water to achieve the desired consistency.
  3. Taste the dressing and adjust the seasoning, adding more salt, pepper, or acid (vinegar or lemon juice) if needed.
  4. If you prefer a bit of heat, add a pinch of red pepper flakes and blend again.
  5. Transfer the keto avocado dressing to a container with a lid.
  6. Use the dressing immediately or store it in the refrigerator. Because it contains fresh ingredients, it’s best to consume it within a few days to enjoy its freshness.
