Keto Burmese Fish Curry
Keto Burmese Fish Curry It’s a multi-nutritional dish, therefore, it will be x posted on a few subs.
Ingredient:
About 2lbs of Talapia (Cod is also awesome in this dish)
1 lemon grass
1 large shallot
4 tometos
4 garlic clove 2 inches of fresh tumric root – if you can’t find it sub with 1 tbs of tumric powder.
2 inches of ginger
3 thai chillies
1 tbs of coconut aminos (or regular soy sauce if it works with your nutrition plan)
1/2 tsp (teaspoon) of tamirand diluted with some water
2 tbs of fish sauce (not in the picture), warning* fish sauce really stinks but it gives an amazing flavor and seasoning.
1 can of coconut milk
1/2 lime
Avocado/coconut oil to lightly fry the fish Fresh coriander and or fresh basil
Spices:
1/2 tbs tumric powder
1/2 tbs coriander powder
1/2 teaspoon cumin
1/4 cayenne pepper
Extra salt if needed for seasoning.
Prep:
Combine the coriander and tumric powder and mix them with the fish – make sure it’s all covered and set aside
Cut all the tomatoes and set aside.
In a food processor get the rest of the ingredients with the exception of the coconut milk just pre cut the ginger, tumric and shallot. Grind it until you’ll get a paste.
Fry the fish about 30 seconds per side and set a side.
Using the same oil fry the paste for about 2 min while stirring it and add the tomatoes, let it simmer for about 10-15 min on medium heat and add the coconut milk. Simmer for additional 1 min and add the fish for about 7min – of the fish is flakey it’s done.
Add juice of 1/2 lime stir and serve on culi rice with some coriander and lime wedges
Enjoy!
