Keto Chicken Cordon Bleu Casserole
4 cups (I used Rotisserie chicken) precooked chicken and shredded
16 slices of ham chopped
16 ounces Swiss cheese
4 ounces of cream cheese(chopped in chunks)
4 tablespoons butter sliced
¼ cup of sour cream
2 teaspoon of dijon mustard
¾ cup heavy cream
½ cup Parmesan cheese grated
1 teaspoon paprika
½ teaspoon garlic powder
½ teaspoon pink salt
1 teaspoon onion powder
½ teaspoon pepper
1/2 cup bacon bits(precooked and crispy)
Optional: As a topping, add chives or parsley
To 375 degrees Fahrenheit, preheat oven.
Start by making the sauce: Add the pepper, butter, sour cream, dijon mustard, heavy cream, parmesan cheese, onion powder, paprika, garlic powder, salt, and cream cheese in a saucepan over low heat until creamy and combined.
Add in the shredded chicken to a greased 9×13 casserole pan, top with ham, and then top with the cream sauce.
Top with bacon bits and shredded Swiss cheese.
Bake for 30 minutes.
If using, sprinkle with chives or parsley.
Optional: If you want to make this a complete meal, you can add a layer of frozen cauliflower florets as the first layer. To the cooking time, add about FIVE to TEN minute. Or you can serve it with a side salad too.
