Ingredients:

  • 10 oz canned chicken
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheese (pepperjack or your choice)
  • 1 egg
  • Bagel seasoning (optional)
  • Cooking spray

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) or preheat your oven to 450°F (230°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the canned chicken (make sure it’s drained), shredded cheese, and egg. Mix everything together until well combined.
  3. Using a cookie scoop or your hands, scoop out portions of the chicken mixture and flatten them slightly to form nugget shapes.
  4. If desired, sprinkle bagel seasoning over the tops of the nuggets for extra flavor.
  5. If using an air fryer, lightly spray the basket with cooking spray to prevent sticking. Place the nuggets in the air fryer basket in a single layer, making sure they are not touching each other. Cook in batches if necessary.
  6. Air fry the nuggets at 400°F (200°C) for about 14 minutes, flipping them halfway through the cooking time to ensure even browning.
