Ingredients:

For the Burger Patties:

  • 1 pound ground beef (preferably lean)
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

For the Pizza Topping:

  • 1/2 cup sugar-free marinara sauce
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • Pepperoni slices (or other pizza toppings of your choice)
  • Sliced bell peppers
  • Sliced onions
  • Any other desired pizza toppings

  • Instructions:
    1. Preheat your grill or stovetop pan over medium heat.
    2. In a mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix well to distribute the spices evenly.
    3. Divide the seasoned beef mixture into equal portions and shape them into burger patties.
    4. Place the burger patties on the grill or pan and cook to your preferred level of doneness. This usually takes about 3-4 minutes per side for medium-rare, depending on the thickness of the patties.
    5. While the burgers are cooking, you can prepare the pizza topping. In a separate bowl, mix the sugar-free marinara sauce with a pinch of Italian seasoning.
    6. When the burgers are almost cooked, spoon a generous amount of the marinara sauce mixture onto each patty.
    7. Top the sauce-covered patties with shredded mozzarella cheese, pepperoni slices, bell peppers, onions, and any other pizza toppings you prefer.
    8. Cover the grill or pan briefly to allow the cheese to melt and the toppings to heat through.
    9. Once the cheese is melted and bubbly, carefully remove the burgers from the heat.
