keto Pan-fried bread with herbs

 

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup almond flour
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon fresh herbs (such as rosemary, thyme, or oregano), finely chopped
  • Optional: 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder or onion powder for extra flavor

  • Instructions:
    1. In a mixing bowl, combine the almond flour, baking powder, salt, chopped herbs, and optional garlic or onion powder.
    2. In a separate bowl, beat the eggs and melted butter together until well combined.
    3. Gradually add the wet mixture to the dry mixture and stir until you have a thick batter. Let the batter sit for a few minutes to allow the almond flour to absorb some of the moisture.
    4. Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat. You can lightly grease it with additional butter or use cooking spray if needed.
    5. Once the skillet is hot, spoon the batter onto the skillet to form rounds of the desired bread size. Use the back of the spoon to spread and flatten the batter into a bread-like shape.
