- Instructions:
- In a mixing bowl, combine the almond flour, baking powder, salt, chopped herbs, and optional garlic or onion powder.
- In a separate bowl, beat the eggs and melted butter together until well combined.
- Gradually add the wet mixture to the dry mixture and stir until you have a thick batter. Let the batter sit for a few minutes to allow the almond flour to absorb some of the moisture.
- Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat. You can lightly grease it with additional butter or use cooking spray if needed.
- Once the skillet is hot, spoon the batter onto the skillet to form rounds of the desired bread size. Use the back of the spoon to spread and flatten the batter into a bread-like shape.
- Cook the bread for about 2-3 minutes on each side, or until they are golden brown and cooked through. The cooking time may vary, so keep an eye on them.
- Once the bread is cooked, remove it from the skillet and let it cool slightly before serving.
- Serve the keto pan-fried bread with your favorite toppings or alongside a keto-friendly dip.
Keep in mind that almond flour-based bread may have a different texture than traditional wheat-based bread, but it’s a great low-carb alternative that’s rich in healthy fats and protein. Adjust the herbs and seasonings to your preference and enjoy your keto-friendly pan-fried bread!
