1. Classic Peanut Butter Energy Balls
Ingredients
- 1 cup rolled oats
- ½ cup natural creamy peanut butter
- ⅓ cup honey
- ½ cup ground flaxseed
- ¼ cup mini chocolate chips
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1–2 tbsp milk, if needed
- Pinch of salt
Instructions
- Add the rolled oats, ground flaxseed, and salt to a large mixing bowl.
- Add peanut butter, honey, and vanilla extract.
- Stir thoroughly until everything is evenly combined.
- Fold in the mini chocolate chips.
- If the mixture is too dry, add milk 1 tablespoon at a time.
- Refrigerate for 20–30 minutes.
- Scoop out about 1 tablespoon at a time and roll into balls.
- Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 1 week.
🍫 2. Chocolate Almond Energy Balls
Ingredients
- 1 cup raw, unsalted almonds
- ¼ cup pitted dates
- 2 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
- 2 tbsp almond butter
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 tbsp chia seeds
- 1–2 tbsp water, as needed
Instructions
- Add the almonds to a food processor and pulse until finely chopped.
- Add the dates, cocoa powder, almond butter, vanilla, and chia seeds.
- Process until the mixture becomes sticky and starts clumping together.
- Add water 1 teaspoon at a time if the mixture is too dry.
- Scoop out portions and roll firmly into balls.
- Refrigerate for 30 minutes before serving.
- Keep refrigerated in a sealed container.

- 1 cup raw cashews

- 2 tbsp shredded coconut
- Pinch of salt

- Add the dates, shredded carrots, cinnamon, nutmeg, coconut oil, coconut, and salt.
- Process until the mixture becomes sticky and holds together.
- Scoop out small portions and roll into balls.
- Roll each ball in extra shredded coconut.
- Refrigerate for 30–60 minutes to firm up.
- Keep refrigerated and enjoy as a naturally sweet snack.
⭐ Storage
Most of these energy balls will keep well in the refrigerator for 5–7 days in an airtight container. They can also be frozen for about 1–2 months; thaw them in the refrigerator before eating.
Note: These are not all keto or low-carb—the oats, dates, honey, maple syrup, and dried fruit make several of them relatively carbohydrate-rich. The protein-packed version is the most suitable of these if your goal is a higher-protein snack.
