Homemade Keto Garlic Parmesan Knots

Keto Friendly

Low Carb

High Protein Option

Soft, cheesy, buttery, and loaded with garlic flavor! These Homemade Keto Garlic Parmesan Knots are the perfect low-carb alternative to traditional bread knots. Made with almond flour and melted mozzarella, they’re golden on the outside, tender inside, and finished with delicious garlic Parmesan butter.

Prep Time: 15 minutes
Cook Time: 15–18 minutes
Total Time: 30–35 minutes
Servings: 8 knots

Ingredients

For the Keto Knots:

  • 1½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ¾ cup almond flour
  • 2 tbsp cream cheese
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • 2 tbsp grated Parmesan cheese

For the Garlic Parmesan Butter:

  • 3 tbsp melted butter
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley
  • ¼ tsp Italian seasoning

Instructions

1. Preheat the oven: Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

2. Melt the cheese: Add mozzarella and cream cheese to a microwave-safe bowl. Microwave for 30 seconds at a time, stirring until completely melted and smooth.

3. Prepare the dough: Add almond flour, egg, baking powder, garlic powder, salt, and Parmesan. Mix until a soft dough forms. If the dough becomes sticky, let it cool slightly.

4. Shape the knots: Divide the dough into 8 equal portions. Roll each portion into a rope about 5–6 inches long. Tie each rope into a loose knot and tuck the ends underneath.

5. Bake: Arrange the knots on the prepared baking sheet. Bake for 15–18 minutes, or until golden brown and cooked through.

6. Make garlic butter: Mix melted butter, minced garlic, parsley, Italian seasoning, and Parmesan cheese in a small bowl.

7. Brush and serve: Brush the warm knots generously with garlic Parmesan butter. Sprinkle with extra Parmesan and parsley if desired.

Tips for the Best Keto Garlic Knots

  • Use low-moisture mozzarella for the best dough texture.
  • Don’t overbake; this keeps the knots soft inside.
  • Brush with garlic butter immediately after baking.
  • Add a pinch of red pepper flakes for a spicy kick.
  • Serve with warm sugar-free marinara sauce.

Serving Idea: Enjoy these cheesy garlic knots alongside grilled chicken, keto pizza, creamy soups, or a fresh salad.

Storage: Refrigerate in an airtight container for up to 4 days. Reheat in an oven or air fryer at 325°F until warm.

Keto Tip: These knots are low in carbs and provide a good amount of protein, making them a satisfying bread alternative for a low-carb lifestyle.
