Creamy, cheesy, tangy, and delicious! This low-carb keto pimento cheese takes just a few minutes to prepare and makes a great dip, spread, or snack.
🛒 Ingredients
- 2 cups (200 g) shredded sharp cheddar cheese
- ½ cup full-fat cream cheese, softened
- ¼ cup mayonnaise
- ⅓ cup diced pimentos, drained well
- 1 tbsp finely chopped jalapeño, optional
- ½ tsp garlic powder
- ½ tsp onion powder
- ¼ tsp smoked paprika
- ¼ tsp black pepper
- Salt, to taste
- 1–2 tbsp chopped fresh chives or parsley, optional
👩🍳 Instructions
- Soften the cream cheese: Let it sit at room temperature for about 15–20 minutes so it mixes easily.
- Make the creamy base: Add cream cheese and mayonnaise to a bowl. Stir until smooth.
- Add the flavor: Mix in garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, black pepper, and a small pinch of salt.
- Add cheese and pimentos: Fold in the shredded cheddar and drained pimentos.
- Add heat: Stir in jalapeño if you like a little spice.
- Chill: Cover and refrigerate for 30–60 minutes. This allows the flavors to develop and gives the mixture a thicker texture.
- Serve: Stir once before serving and garnish with chives or parsley.
