Servings: 2 | Prep Time: 5 minutes | Chill Time: 30 minutes
Ingredients
- 1 cup unsweetened almond milk
- ¾ cup plain nonfat Greek yogurt
- 1 scoop chocolate protein powder, low-carb and unsweetened or lightly sweetened
- 2 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
- 2 tbsp powdered monk fruit or erythritol, or to taste
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 cup ice cubes
- 2 tbsp heavy cream
- Pinch of salt
- Optional: ½ tsp instant espresso powder for a deeper chocolate flavor
Instructions
Add the almond milk, Greek yogurt, protein powder, cocoa powder, sweetener, vanilla, heavy cream, and salt to a high-speed blender. Blend until completely smooth and creamy. Add the ice cubes and blend again until thick and frosty. If the mixture is too thick, add 1–2 tablespoons of almond milk. If it is too thin, add a few more ice cubes or a little extra Greek yogurt.
Taste and adjust the sweetness and chocolate flavor. For an extra-thick Frosty, transfer it to the freezer for 20–30 minutes, stirring once halfway through. Spoon into glasses and serve immediately. Optional toppings include a small amount of unsweetened cocoa powder or a few sugar-free chocolate shavings.
